The quiz

Your quiz answers are scored in your browser and placed in the result link so you can share it. We don’t store quiz answers in a database (because they are in the link, they can appear briefly in standard web-server logs).

Verifying where you work

To rate a company you enter your work email and we send a one-time sign-in link through Google Firebase Authentication. Personal providers (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, iCloud, Proton and similar) can't be used, because they don't show an employer.

What a rating stores

Your five answers, your company's email domain, and a salted hash of your address (a one-way scrambled value used only to stop duplicate ratings). Your email address is never stored with a rating. The temporary Firebase sign-in account, which is where Firebase keeps the address, is deleted as soon as your rating is saved.

What is shown publicly

Only company-level averages, rounded to the nearest 5%, and only after a company reaches a minimum number of verified ratings (5 by default). Individual ratings are never shown, and the database refuses all direct access from browsers.

Changing your rating

Verify again with the same work email and your new answers replace your old ones.
